If you can’t keep your pet anymore, the SPCA is here to help

An animal is not like trash, you can't throw it away.

Many people choose to let unwanted animals wander the streets of the communities they live in.
This creates a problem as some animals become sick and pose a risk to children and adults.
It is also unhygienic and dangerous as animals get run over by motorists and their carcasses decompose without proper care.

If you are a pet owner unable to take care of or feed your animal, take the animal to your local SPCA and surrender the animal to them.
There will be no judgement and your pet will receive the care and attention it needs – and maybe a new family in the process.
If you are unable to bring in the animal, call them to make arrangements for its collection.
To surrender or adopt a pet contact the SPCA on 082 668 5230.
