Women in art invited to a dialogue hosted by the metro
Women are invited to partake in the digital empowerment workshop.
Kwatsaduza – The City of Ekurhuleni is hosting the Women in Arts Dialogue at the Dumisani Masilela Theatre on Saturday.
The event aims to empower women in art by exploring digital platforms post Covid-19.

“The plight of the Covid-19 pandemic has inconvenienced a lot of industries in terms of productivity. The arts industry too was not spared.
“As such, in continuation with the women’s month commemorations, the women in the art industry from across the city and beyond will convene a dialogue to share the industry’s best practices in exploring digital platforms to showcase their work post the Covid-19 pandemic,” said metro spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.
The event will be facilitated by Dr Tu Nokwe, looking at how theatres and live performances can survive future catastrophically periods such as Covid-19. The event will be held from 10:00 to 13:00.
