Local NPO provides skills training programme

The members of the NPO celebrated a milestone on Friday.

Tsakani – Members of the Kopanang Community Project celebrated the completion of their 12-week Management Toolkit training on Friday.
The NPO held the ceremony at its premises in Withok, Brakpan.
Aimed at empowering locals with skills, they cover a series of topics during the duration such as productivity, procrastination and how to strengthen teamwork and raise motivation levels.
Doctor Roney Ndala facilitated the training.

Ndala said leaders with the correct skillsets feel competent and can efficiently influence staff performance.
The NPO caters to the needs of women in the community and provides a safe platform for them.
The programme empowers them to create a range of handcrafted beaded and embroidered products.
The members who completed the training are Lettie Sepenyane, Sophia Mpye, Branda Bostander, Zanele Sibeko, Samantha Jones, Winile Dlamini, Tozi Makoba and Sizakele Kraai.
