Choir festival to denounce abuse of women and children
Men in choral music to speak against abuse.
Kwa-Thema – The Sweet Voices Choir in collaboration with the East Rand Male Symphony will be hosting the second annual late Fuzzy Mabutyana Choral Music festival.
The festival is aimed at commemorating the life of the late Fuzzy Mabutyana who was a history educator at Pholong Secondary School and a renowned choral conductor of the school choir and the St Mathews Methodist Church.

The 2022 Fuzzy Mabutyana Choral Music Festival is aimed at promoting male choirs within the City of Ekurhuleni and at ensuring the arts and cultural values are restored, preserved, and promoted in local areas.
Founding male choir conductors will be awarded accolades in the form of certificates and trophies for the vision they had of establishing male choirs.

The event will also be an opportunity to denounce as men the bad and evil spirits within communities about GBV.
The festival will take place at 13:00 on November 6 at the HH Ngakane Community Hall.
Some of the choirs who will be gracing the event are Sweet Voices Chorale, Artistic Chorale, St Mathews Methodist Church Choir, Melomania Vocal Waves, Duduza Serenade, Santo Male Choir and East Rand Male Symphony.
