Learners represent Ntokozweni Primary well

Learners make teachers proud

 

Learners from Ntokozweni Primary School participated at the national level of the Youth Citizens Action Programme (YCAP), held in Sandton on October 29.
YCAP is a youth development competition-based programme with the main focus being the empowerment and motivation of children and youth through conscientiously teaching leadership skills and competencies for them to become active citizens and social entrepreneurs in their communities.

The learners started participating at the district level where they emerged victorious. They proceeded to the provincial level where they again won.
The learners with their coordinator Nomsa Xundu, who is a teacher at the school, represented Gauteng in the national where they celebrated third place.

Xundu said, “I am happy and proud of how the team performed and how well they represented the school. They were dedicated and worked very hard.”
