Kwa-Thema – A local academy requests donations to be able to continue making a difference to young people in the community
Nokuthula Sport, Recreation and Art Academy is a non-profit organisation (NPO) in Kwa-Thema.
They aim to provide opportunities to children and young adults between the ages of five and 18 who are underprivileged.
They want to create a positive impact in the lives of the participants and promote physical and mental well-being through sport, recreation and art.

The programme is designed to include participants from different backgrounds. They will also collaborate with local schools and other community organisations to identify potential participants.
Their programmes offer different activities and some of them will help the participants with teamwork and leadership skills.
As NPO, their primary source of income comes from donations.
They are also looking into a partnership with local businesses and organisations doing similar work.
