Reshogofaditswe Secondary School’s maths and physical science extra lessons yield results

The Live and Learn Mathematics and Science Academy was founded in 2020 by a teacher to help struggling learners catch up.

Tsakane – Reshogofaditswe Secondary School recognised two Grade Eight learners for their hard work during the school’s academic awards.

Nkazimulo Maseko achieved level six in mathematics, while Kgotlello Seerane achieved level seven in mathematics and physical sciences.

Their achievement is credited to their maths teacher and the founder of Live and Learn Maths and Science Academy, Simon Zulu.

The school was founded in 2020 to help struggling learners catch up.

Zulu said he could not understand why learners found the two subjects difficult when this was not the case with others.

“We offer lessons in the two subjects from Grades Eight to 10 to ensure they have the basic skills going into Grades 11 and 12.

“I am proud that there is a lot of improvement since we started,” he added.
