Children perform for parents during graduation
Impumelelo Nursery and Pre-School celebrated their graduation
Tsakani – As the year ends with schools and creches closing, Impumelelo Nursery and Pre-School held its year-end function and graduation day at Praise and Worship Church at Tsakani Ext 15 on Saturday.
Twelve children graduated for primary school next year.
Impumelelo principal Simangele Nomoya Nkosi said, “Though we faced challenges during the year, I am grateful that this day has come as it shows how we overcame the challenges.”
Parents attended the ceremony to see their children participate in drama, Sarafina, kofifi, beauty contests, and traditional and modern dances. All the daycare children participated in the activities performed for their parents.
Nkosi said she was grateful to the parents who have been supportive throughout the year and for the graduates’ parents for making the day successful.
“One needs to have an anointing or calling to work with children and to tackle challenges and that’s what we have at our centre. Parents can, therefore, trust us with their children and bring them to learn with us,” she concluded.
