Masimini Primary School recognises learners’ hard work
Masimini Primary School held an award ceremony for its learners while recognising their hard work on November 1.
Kwa-Thema – Masimini Primary School held an award ceremony for its learners, recognising their hard work from grades R to seven on November 1.
The event awarded learners per subject, those who participated in the district categories (academic, sports, art and cultural activities) and the patrollers.
“The purpose of the event was to award learners who performed well in 2024 in all categories. Learners were awarded trophies and certificates.
“Parents whose children were to receive certificates were invited to celebrate with their children,” said school principal Mbuso Ndlela.
Ndlela also awarded teachers with certificates for their hard work and teamwork. He expressed his thankfulness to the parents for working with teachers in ensuring that quality teaching and learning takes place.

“As the school principal I am proud of my learner’s achievements, they are going to be exemplary to other learners.
“I would like to thank their parents for assisting us in moulding them. We hope they will serve as encouragement to other learners.
“Learners who were awarded are going to put our school on the map and they will be good citizens of which we are proud,” he said.
As motivation, Ndlela said learners who did not perform well need to look up to those who were awarded, saying they must aspire to be like them so that they can be awarded in future.
“There is still room for improvement,” he added.
