Gunfire kills man parked outside Duduza tavern

DUDUZA – A man was shot and killed in his car outside a tavern in Bluegum View, Duduza, on July 19.

Ekurhuleni SAPS district spokesperson Captain Neldah Sekgobela said that in the early hours of July 19, officers on duty were called to the scene.

“The lifeless body of a 40-year-old man was found in the driver’s seat of his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. The vehicle had been shot at several times on the driver’s side, and the man sustained fatal injuries to his upper body,” explained Sekgobela.

The motive and suspect remain unknown, and the Duduza SAPS has opened a case of murder.
