Kwa-Thema – A match between Bolton Villa FC and Jealous Down FC recently ended in victory for Jealous Down FC.

The game took place at the Kwa-Thema Sports Complex and saw Jealous Down FC crowned U13 champions of the Springs Local Football Association League.

It was an intense encounter that started at a high tempo, with both teams determined to secure the win. Each side defended fiercely and marked tightly, striving to score first.

Coach Ayabonga Nxumalo expressed his joy at the victory, saying the team had worked hard to reach this milestone.

“We had opportunities to score more goals but could not convert them. Great preparation at the beginning of the season led us to this achievement. My players have been working tirelessly, even though it was not easy,” said Nxumalo.

He added that his goal was to finish the league with straight wins, but a few games did not go in their favour. The final score was 5-1 in favour of Jealous Down FC.

“I look forward to seeing my boys grow because this achievement shows they are capable of winning every game they commit to. More entertainment, skill and dedication are yet to come.

“We are also grateful for the support we have been receiving from the community, other players and children around the township,” he said.

Nxumalo added that he was thrilled with the victory as it gives the team the recognition they deserve. The Bolton Villa FC coach could not be reached for comment.
