Kwa-Thema Colour Run unites community through fitness, fun

With smiles, colour and energy, the Kwa-Thema Colour Run brought the community together to celebrate movement and wellness.

Kwa-Thema – The Sunday Crew hosted a colour run, bringing energy, fitness and unity to the community as residents of all ages came together for a day of colour, excitement and purpose.

The event was held on Saturday at Tripple K and drew 258 participants. Phumla Mabena of the Sunday Crew said the primary aim was to promote a happy lifestyle and encourage people to be active in a socially uplifting environment.

“The purpose of the colour run was to bring people together for a fun, active celebration that mixes fitness with a burst of colour. We want participants to get moving, run with a smile, boost their mood and have fun while connecting with friends,” he said.

The event also promoted healthy living through regular physical activity for all age groups. Many families joined, adding to the spirit of the day.

The organisers have confirmed their next event: The Sunday Crew Year-End Closing Pool Party on December 14 at the Nest and Rest in Pollack Park. Residents can attend and celebrate the year-end in a relaxed, fun and family-friendly environment.
