Matric rewrites get free study opportunity in Mpumalanga

Seven Kwa-Thema matric rewrites secured a fully funded study opportunity at the Institute of Mathematics in Mpumalanga.

Some Kwa-Thema matric rewrites received an opportunity to further their studies at one of the Institute of Mathematics (IM) centres in Mpumalanga.

The selected learners are Kamogelo Mokwana, Nomusa Mutukwa, Nomcebo Simelane, Boitumelo Solomons, Gugu Nkabinde, Litokelo Matsoso and Ntokozo Mbele.

The institution will provide free accommodation and meals, and academic support in maths, accounting, physical sciences and life sciences at no cost.

As part of the programme, the matric rewrites will help the institution with marking between 15:00 and 16:00 daily.
Institute founder Ntsane Masiloane said he was proud to give back to Kwa-Thema.

Although the organisation has a national footprint, he stressed that Kwa-Thema would always get preference.

Matric rewrites wanting to be considered for the second intake can call the IM office on 076 889 6002. The second intake is from February 14 to 18.
