Born with an entrepreneurial spirit, Makofane’s journey began at Nchabeleng Primary School before continuing her education at Geluksdal High School.

“I have always been determined to build practical skills. I studied fashion design, laying the foundation for the career she would one day pursue.

“I later expanded my knowledge by studying electrical engineering to demonstrate my commitment to continuous learning and personal growth,” she said.

“Before embracing entrepreneurship full-time, I spent two years working as a tap hole attendant at a mine in Limpopo, a physically demanding role that tested my resilience, discipline, and perseverance.”

While mining provided employment, it was sewing that gave me purpose.

Choosing to leave the mining industry behind, Makofane made the courageous decision to pursue fashion full-time, turning her lifelong passion into a business built on creativity, precision, and excellence.

“That decision not only changed the direction of my career but also transformed my life. Today, every garment produced by Makofane’s business reflects her commitment to quality, attention to detail, and deep understanding of my clients’ needs.
