In loving memory

Malefetsane was well known for his discipline and his love for fighting crime.

Deceased: Jantjie Pitso Malefetsane, born on January 3, 1958, died on June 28 in Parkland Hospital after a short illness and multiple operations.

Community: He grew up in KwaThema went to Ikwezi Kganyeng Primary School and Phulong Secondary School.

He was an exceptional warrant officer who solved serious crimes in Kwatsaduza and the East Rand at large.

Malefetsane was well known for his discipline and his love for fighting crime.

Career: He attained a gold belt in karate in 1979 while working at Van Leer.

He joined the SAPS in 1993 and retired early 2018 after a successful career.

After leaving the KwaThema Police Station in 2006, he studied to be a detective and became a warrant officer and directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) at Germiston Police Station until he retired in January 2018.

Family: He leaves behind his wife, two sons, four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral: The funeral will take place in Reedville (Mzumbe) at the Home Fellowship Church from 8am to 10am on July 6, then proceed to the Brakpan Cemetery.
