Ayoba gets first aid kit

Ayoba-Yo Youth Soccer Academy received a first aid kit from Ekhayeni Pharmacy.

The handover of the kit was held on Monday at the pharmacy.

Speaking on behalf of the pharmacy store manager, Richard Mabina said the pharmacy donated the kit to the team to ensure that players who get hurt on the pitch receive urgent medical care.

“We all know that players get injuries when on the field,” said Mabina, adding that because the pharmacy wants to see soccer grow in the township, they will continue to help the local teams to ensure that they produce the best players who will represent the country one day.

Receiving the first aid kit from Mabina, Xolani Nyuleka from Ayoba thanked the pharmacy for the donation.

“Not having a first aid kit to help the injured players has been one of the challenges that the team has been faced with,” confirmed Nyuleka.

He said the kit will help his team especially when playing against rough opponents.
