Mamelodi Sundowns looking to defend their title in the second Shell Helix Ultra Cup

2019 Helix Ultra Cup is taking place this Saturday at FNB Stadium.

Kwatsaduza – October 12 will mark the second clash in the Shell Helix Ultra Cup between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

The match will take place at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. Gates will open at 1pm, and the game is set to start at 4pm.

Mamelodi Sundowns Greater Springs Branch vice-chairman Mmes Ramushu says he has full confidence in his team. He acknowledges that the game will be a tough one as five Mamelodi Sundowns’ main players have been called to play in the national team for the upcoming game against Mali on Sunday.

“The game won’t be easy but we are looking to silence the Chiefs fans and this is a great opportunity for the coach to give young players a chance to showcase their talent. I am confident of a win on Saturday. My score prediction is 2-1,” says Ramushu.

Teka Matsepane, Kaizer Chiefs supporter from the Langaville Branch, says his squad stands a better chance of winning and it is evident from the recent games they have played.

Mamelodi Sundowns are looking to defend their title on Saturday against Kaizer Chiefs.

“We definitely want to keep the momentum going. We are currently sitting at the top of the league, and we have been playing good football. We are going to show Sundowns flames this Saturday.

“A win of 2-0,” says Matsepane.

There will be transport to the stadium on Saturday. Departure time will be 12noon at KwaThema Pick n Pay. Fans who would like to go are encouraged to gather up by 10.30am. Transport will cost R80.
