Young Masters finished in the second position with 57 points earning silver while Mighty Falcons FC held the bronze title with 51 points.

“The feeling is so surreal. We spent six months preparing for this,” said Vusi ‘Terror’ Zulu, Sanders United coach.
Leading with six points meant the club had already clinched the league even before the final game which Terror expressed with great pride.
“All we had to do was honour the invitation today and take what was already ours,” he said proudly.
He attributed their success to the players praising them for their consistency and execution.

“The fact that they did exactly what we practiced during training shows that we are on the right track,” Terror said.
He commended right winger, Jabulani ‘Shovel’ Mazibuko for his brilliant performance.
“Everybody gave their all from the first game, throughout the league, I had to play all of them, sometimes out of their normal positions,” he said.
He expressed his gratitude to the parents and supporter of the club. A Young Masters striker, Khayalethu Khumalo scored the opening goal setting the momentum in the first half.

Sanders United got their equaliser from Siphesihle Sehako.

Young Masters head coach Bob Mabena said despite the game being tough for both teams, they gave it their all.
“My players showed me a different side to them that showed true strength and resilience.

“There were some chances that they couldn’t capitalise but they gave their all on the field,” he said.
Reflecting on their performance throughout the season, he said every game felt like a final.
“There were times where some of our players had school and couldn’t play but the available players would always step up. They really showed their maturity,” he said.
