Friends and Cocktails anniversary celebration to rock you

Kwatsaduza – Join Rakwena Events as they bring you Friends and Cocktails’s fourth annual celebration on November 28 at Ziba Park, Bahama.
Founder Trevor Mbonani said the aim of the event is to initiate employment for the youth.

“The social event is aimed at creating fun with a purpose.
“This goal is achieved by employing local youth and small businesses providing services, such as sound hire, food stalls, bar tenders, tent and décor hire, cleaning services, security services, graphic designers, photographers, car guards, as well as promoting local artists and DJs,” he said.
According to Mbonani, the event creates about 60 job opportunities.
“The main objective of the event is to create awareness to other parts of the country about the beauty of our township.
“We have talent and great minds within Kwa-Thema, especially when it comes to arts and culture.
“Our target audience is the working class. People who adore good music, good food, style and class, while enjoying a sip of a good cocktail,” he said.

He said the event is more about the experience.
“We go all out in ensuring a great experience is offered by creating a proper setup, sound system, state-of-the-art staging and that our performance lineups stand out.
“In previous events we featured artists like Samthing Soweto, Fistaz Mixwell, PH, Just Themba, Malumz On Decks and so many more.
“We are looking forward to this special edition.”
