Former Xitsonga artist drops third gospel album
“I hope my album will receive support. I’ve worked so hard with my team.”
Tsakani – Sixty-four-year-old David Nyanisi has recently released a gospel album, titled Njabulo.
Nyanisi started off as a Xitsonga music artist in the ’80s.
“I’ve worked with people like Papa Penny Penny, Joe Shirimani and General Muzka.
“These are well known Xitsonga music legends. I am grateful that I had an opportunity to work with them.”
Nyanisi said it was church that inspired him to start singing gospel.

“This is my third gospel album. It has been three years since I switched to gospel.
“I’ve loved music since I was a little boy, I’ll never quit it.”
The Makhalibota and Misava ya Ndzinginika hitmaker said he’s grateful for the support he has from his family.
“I hope my album will receive support. I’ve worked so hard with my team. One thing that keeps on pushing me is that my family is musical.”
