Tsakani – Tsakani police were called to the Pholosong Hospital on June 20 after two men were brought to the hospital following a shooting.

Cases of murder and attempted murder are under investigation.

According to Ekurhuleni SAPS district spokesperson Captain Neldah Sekgobela, officers arrived at the hospital and were shown the body of a 43-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the left side of his middle body and right back.

“They were also shown another unconscious male with gunshot wounds.

“Both the deceased and the victim are known. They were shot by unknown suspects in Tsakani Ext 19 and the motive for the shooting is unknown,” said Sekgobela.

The police are appealing to anyone who might have information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to come forward or anonymously call the police on 08600 10111.
