Power should be restored after a cable fault caused a power outage on Monday afternoon, November 9.
Residents reported that there was a power outage in parts of Brackendowns and Alrode since 13:30.
Themba Gadebe, a municipal spokesperson for Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM), said technicians were on site to investigate the problem.
