Robbers escape from mall

FOUR armed robbers struck at a cellphone service provider, at New Market Mall, in the morning hours of Friday, January 29.

According to Alberton SAPS spokesperson Sgt Phora Nkuna, the four armed men stole cellphone chargers and an undisclosed amount of cash from the business. No injuries were reported.Alberton SAPS were on the scene, but no arrests have been made.

Nkuna has asked the public to be on the lookout for four men travelling in a white Toyota Corolla.
