Tom needs a new wheelchair

If anyone can assist with a new wheelchair the family will be forever grateful

BORN disabled on a farm near Douglas, in the Northern Cape, Tom and his 87-year-old father stayed with relatives for many years and Tom relied on a broken wheelchair donated to him.

Tom is now cared for by his unemployed sister, Katrina Moccan, and her husband, who struggles to repair the wheelchair on almost a daily basis. The two find it difficult to move Tom around.

The family is pleading with the Alberton community for a donation of a wheelchair. “We have to weld the chair together regularly and we fear for Tom’s safety. Please help my brother,” said Katrina.

Katrina can be contacted on 073 575 0555.
