Alberton SPCA dogs need homes

Remember our motto ‘adopt, don’t shop’!

THESE two dogs from Alberton SPCA, Nicky and Terri, are two female puppies who get on so well.

“They only met at the SPCA, but already they are firm friends and play together nicely. We don’t mind if they are adopted separately or together, but we would love to find them forever homes soon.

“They are both still young. It is so frustrating when people come in asking for puppies but only want teeny tiny ones when we have plenty of lovely adoptable slightly older dogs. A dog is a puppy until it’s over two years of age. Any dog can be trained, regardless of age, and by adopting slightly older dogs you tend to know their character a lot better,” said Vanja Ingold, SPCA member.

For more information, contact their offices on 011 907 1568.

PUPPY: Nicky is just a puppy at four months old. She’s a medium cross breed and is full of love and wags. Quote reference MM6.
