Brackenhurst Primary welcomes back its learners

Sing said they will continue with these efforts until all learners are welcomed back.

Brackenhurst Primary School confidently announced that it was ready to continue with the academic year as they recently reopened.

This is after Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga announced that Grade Seven and 12 learners were set to return back to class on June 8.

Chandika Sing, the principal, said they took every precaution necessary to ensure the safety of all their learners and staff members.

“We are proud to announce that due to the fantastic effort of teachers, ground staff, administrative staff and school management team, the first day of teaching for Grade Seven went smoothly and was a huge success. “We have got this new normal,” she said.

Sing said they will continue with these efforts until all learners are welcomed back.
