Would you change lockdown regulations?

With many lockdown regulations put in place, the RECORD took to the streets to ask the community which lockdown regulation they would change if they could, and why.

This is what they had to say:

John Banda: “I’m quite happy with the current regulations because I think they are there for our own safety. I would encourage the government to continue on banning the sale of cigarettes because it only deteriorates your health.”
Herman Sebolai: “I would suggest they change alcohol and cigarettes ban because that affects our economy greatly.”
Leonard Gething: “I think they should open everything. Alcohol and cigarettes have left the country in a terrible state which is why many people have been affected by this. I’m now a car guard because I recently lost my job. These restrictions are too heavy.”
Francina Maboee: “I suggest they change taxi regulations and the capacity which has been suggested in local taxis and the ones that travel long distances. I think it’s only fair that all taxis occupy a full capacity because all taxi drivers get affected the same way.”
