A month after hosting their first charity car show, The Infinity Charm Foundation again hosted a car show on December 5 in Ormonde.
With Covid-19 protocols in place, the event brought together car clubs, owners of exclusive cars, and car fanatics.
Attended by both young and old, the event was not only hosted for charitable causes but also offered entertainment to attendees.
It also empowered local businesses as it gave them an opportunity to put up food stalls that sold various items.
The day also saw car contestants compete in various categories, namely show-and-shine, sound competition, and numerous cars were also on display.
Entrants also added canned food to the collection as part of their entry fee. To date, they have donated 270 000 cans from their charity drive to different organisations and less fortunate families.

According to founder Nishaan Kishore, the NPO secured at least 1 000 cans on the day.
“We will donate these to SA Chefs, who feed the Alex Children’s home. We will also distribute the rest to Frida Hartley Women’s shelter and the balance will be given to Pretoria needy families and Windsor communities,” said Kishore.
The charity car show was held in collaboration with RP Studioz, Stay Cautious and Audio SP.
Kishore also said the event focused more on bringing a car feel to car enthusiasts rather than focusing solely on the charity.
“We did not take away the charity aspect but we thought we needed more of the car aspect into this car show. We are appealing to the male market to come on board on these drives. This is because it’s not easy for men to do charity work, but this way we’re combining what they love in order for them to give back to the community,” he said.
