Ward 38 councillor recognises good Samaritans

Ward 38 councillor Malcolm Maifala-Masebe announced the inaugural Ward 38 champions for March, in line with My Ward 38 Community Champion.

He honoured these individuals and an academy which went above and beyond in lending a helping hand to the community.

Those nominated for March were Alta McMaster of Epic Foundation, Michelle van der Ryst, Karin Serfontein and Martins Academy.

The My Ward 38 Community Champion is aimed at honouring Brackenhurst and Brackendowns residents who outshine themselves by serving their community.

The platform allows community members to nominate those residents who stand out and residents have an opportunity to nominate people every month.
