Residents invited to have a say on proposed tariff increases and service delivery
Residents and business owners are encouraged to join Cllr Maifala-Masebe, who will be receiving comments in order to submit on the residents’ behalf to council.
Ward 38 councillor Malcolm Maifala-Masebe would like to invite the community of Brackenhurst, Brackendowns, Mayberry Park, Albertsdal, South part of Meyersdal, Roodekop Ext 31 and businesses in Alrode to a virtual public meeting on April 22.
“The virtual public meeting offers the residents of the above-mentioned areas an opportunity to voice their opinion on the City of Ekurhuleni’s proposed IDP/Budget. The budget includes proposed tariff increases from the municipality; these will affect the livelihoods of the residents in the city,” he said.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to join Cllr Maifala-Masebe, who will be receiving comments in order to submit on the residents’ behalf to council.
The meeting will take place via Zoom to be Broadcast on Facebook Live, Bracken Residents Info Page.
