Making a U-turn can lead to fatalities

I just don’t know where some people get their driver’s licences.
I travel along Ring Road daily to work in City Deep and almost every morning somebody is making a U-turn at the traffic light on Ring Road and Redruth Street.
If you dare to hoot at them, they will act as if you are in the wrong. People drive like crazy people on Ring Road, especially at that intersection because many tend to take the wrong slipway.
Making a U-turn is very dangerous and can lead to a fatal accident. A U-turn is one of the most dangerous manoeuvres a driver can make, so why do it?
