Pet owners throw birthday celebration for furry friend
To mark their pit bull’s one-year milestone, pet owners Roché and Ruben Nel recently held a birthday celebration for Turbo.
We celebrated Turbo’s very first birthday on May 23.
Turbo is a very special boy, a red-nose pit bull who is very close to our hearts. We hope to celebrate many more years.
We got Turbo during lockdown last year when he was eight weeks old. We purchased him from a lady who was struggling due to the financial impact of Covid-19.
When we first got him, he was just a tiny little boy who had just landed himself a brand-new home with two people who were prepared to love him until the end of time.
We never sent Turbo to a training school, we trained him ourselves. This included lots of love, attention and treats. In a year, Turbo has taught us the meaning of love. He is a very well-mannered dog and has so much love for children and humans.
We do encourage other people to give more love and less hatred towards the pit bull breed, all they need is love and attention. Turbo’s favourite things are giving kisses, lying on the couch and being walked by mom and dad, Roché and Ruben.
We love doing charity work for the SPCA and we support a lot of dogs and cats who have no shelter. We wish that every dog and cat will receive the love we have for Turbo.
Regards, Allen Nel.
