Support Zanelle on her journey with the Miss Ekurhuleni Empowerment pageant.
Zanelle Huyzers from Alberton is a finalist for the Miss Ekurhuleni Empowerment pageant.
“I am so honoured to be part of this pageant. Through the organisers empowering me, I can go and empower others,” said Zanelle.
She is a learner at Laerskool President Steyn and has recently been chosen as a finalist.
She will need to search for sponsorships and sell Dignity Dreams packs.
She will need sponsors for her entry fee, pageant sponsorship fee, spectator tickets, gift shop items, contestant/judges/chaperone gifts, clothing, travel expenses, accommodation expenses and any other items she may require towards her journey.
“I am looking forward to my journey with The Miss Ekurhuleni Empowerment pageant. I am excited about meeting new people and learning more things,” she said.

The Ekurhuleni Empowerment Pageant empowers women between the ages of 13 and 40 with sponsorship to continue their studies.
With education being the key to anyone’s success, the aim of the Ekurhuleni pageant is, with successful businesses in Ekurhuleni, to empower women and the youth to successfully pay for and continue their studies.
It is with the initiative of the Ekurhuleni pageant that it intends to make this possible.
Ekurhuleni is rich with icons and heritage and is envied by the people of South Africa for having prime residential estates, glitzy entertainment venues, mega shopping malls, lively townships, historical villages, great schools, recreational facilities, wide-open spaces and a tourism hub to name just a few reasons why this empowerment programme and pageant is something young women should compete in.
Dignity Dreams
Your assistance is needed in giving #Pads4Girls while supporting your Ekurhuleni Empowerment pageant finalist with their journey.
“We are proud to manufacture and distribute SABS-approved washable multi-use sanitary pads to girls,” said the organisers.
A pack containing six Dignity Dreams pads replaces 864 disposable pads over the same period.
Each pack includes six sanitary pads in a drawstring bag with instructions and costs R270 per packet. If each finalist raises R16 200, she will not only distribute 60 packs to needy women, but she will also be able to pay for her entry fee.
