Vaccination sites in the City of Ekurhuleni

Vaccine registration for seniors aged 60 and above is officially opened and the City of Ekurhuleni has provided launched sites for vaccinations.

The launch sites are as follows:
Seven district sites identified to start with the phase 1B for outstanding healthcare workers and start phase 2a for seniors.
• South sub-district region – Bertha Gxowa Hospital at Kobie Muller hall and J Dumane Hall
• Eastern sub-district region – Daveyton Main Community Day Care Centre, Nokuthela Ngwenya Community Health Care Centre and Zanele Mbeki Old Age Home
• Northern sub-district region – Esangweni Community Health Care Centre and Kempton Park Civic Hall

Three identified Pfizer vaccination launch sites, already visited by the MECs, are;
• Southern sub-district region – Kobie Muller
• Eastern sub-district region – Zanele Mbeki Old Age Home
• Northern sub-district region – Esangweni Community Health Centre
The other three sites are Daveyton main community Day Care Centre, Jabulani Dumane Hall, Nokuthela Ngwenya Community Health Care Centre and Kempton Park Civic Centre
The main site, Kobie Muller Hall with 32 vaccination points, is ready to start with vaccinations.
The operating hours are from Monday to Friday at 8am to 4pm.
