Ward 38 councillor urges residents to vaccinate
Ward 38 councillor Malcolm Maifala-Masebe encourages the community to vaccinate after getting his vaccine jab on July 20.
As a means to curb the deadly pandemic, Ward 38 councillor Malcolm Maifala-Masebe urged eligible community members to receive their vaccination jab.
On July 20, Maifala-Masebe set an example by being one of the many residents who went out to get vaccinated at the Alberton Civic Centre.
He said the staff at the vaccination centre was very helpful and that it gladly took every visitor through the process.
“Residents should please note that the Alberton Civic Centre vaccination site is reserved for police officers, teachers and social development workers. Any resident who wishes to vaccinate can dial *134*832# or visit vaccine.enroll.health.gov.za.
“Having observed the impact of the pandemic and the lockdown, it is much better if more residents go out to vaccinate when they are legible to do so,” said Maifala-Masebe.
