Ligstad Alberton celebrated its ninth year of existence on September 3.
“From humble beginnings, we have grown to stand tall in the community of Alberton as an organisation. We are an organisation that takes the lead in the rendering of pro-active services in Alberton,” said social worker Alida Jooste.
The day was celebrated with a birthday cake.
“Like the tree discussed in Psalm 1, we are planted at a stream of water that enables us to yield fruit at the season and with the grace of God our leaves have not withered (even through tough seasons).”

Alida said the work Ligstad does is blessed by God, who established and maintains us faithfully.
“We are celebrating God’s provision and the privilege to be acting as a beacon of light and hope in the community we serve.
We have a busy month behind us and would love to tell you what happened.
“We also wait in anticipation to see where God leads us this month. May it be true for you as well that God watches over your way. Thank you for your faithful support and prayer. We truly appreciate you,” she added.
