Alberton Child Welfare donates to a community outreach programme

With intent to make a difference, Alberton Child Welfare generously presented a donation to be handed over to a faith-based outreach programme on September 15.

Thanks to donations received from the community, Alberton Child Welfare made a generous donation to a faith-based outreach programme, Kasie Outreach, on September 16.

Kasie Outreach, a faith-based community outreach programme, received children’s pre-loved clothes and a stack of toys.

These will be handed over to needy families in the City of Ekurhuleni’s informal settlement.

To date, hundreds have been assisted through the outreach programme in most underprivileged parts of Ekurhuleni.

Zeenith Domingo, director at the Alberton Child Welfare, said: “We need to ensure that we distribute items to organisations in need. Community-based organisations have the outreach to communities and people at grassroots level can benefit.”

The Alberton Child Welfare also committed to giving back to local organisations, such as Stepping Stone Hospice and few others.
