Sigh of relief as Simba finds a new home
Simba has finally found a new home a week after his owner, Wiseman Matasva, announced that he desperately needed a loving home for him.
Just a few days before the end of the month, Simba has found a safe home where he can lay his old head and live out his life in peace and comfort.
Although this is a sigh of relief for his owner Wiseman Matasva, it is quite sad that Simba will part ways with his loving owner after six years.
Thanks to a local good Samaritan who heeded the desperate plea, the 12-year-old mixed-breed dog will be housed in a safe and loving home.
This is because Wiseman is moving from where he used to stay.
For the past six years, Wiseman stayed in a cottage of Healing Water Ministries in Bouquet Street, Rosettenville.
However, the church is moving to Rosebank and the new owners have given him until the end of the month to find an alternative place to stay.
He previously told the COURIER the church wanted him to come with them; however, he cannot go as he has an upholstery business with his brother.
“My livelihood is here in the South, I can’t leave. However, the alternative place I’m looking for might not be habitable for Simba. Other landlords do not like animals, hence I’m looking for anyone who might be interested in housing him,” he said in a previous interview.
He said he was grateful that someone came forward and offered to house Simba.
“I have someone who is coming to fetch Simba. Thank you COURIER for helping to find a home for Simba. People who were supporting me with dog food are the ones that found the lady who will house my dog, I trust them,” said Wiseman.
