In aid of furry friends, Alberton Lions and community members held a Walk for Paws on October 23 in Alberante.

This was part of Alberton Lions’ monthly walks of collecting donations towards a charity they support.

This month, according to Tania Steyn of Alberton Lions, they held a walk and asked the community to donate a bag of dog or cat food.

“The cat food goes towards feeding the cats at Alberton SAPS and the dog food is given to the Alberton SPCA. It was well supported and we would like to thank everybody who contributed for their support and company. We later delivered the dog food to the SPCA,” said Steyn.
