Improvements for Alberton Primary

After years of waiting, Alberton Primary School has welcomed much-needed improvements outside the school premises.

Just days before schools reopen, the city’s roads and storm water department has promised to put their finishing touches on Alberton Primary’s narrow single-lane walkway.

Alberton Primary School has welcomed what it deems as huge improvements at the school.

This is after the City of Ekurhuleni roads and storm water department heeded the call to resolve this issue which has been a problem for about six years.

In ensuring safety, street lights were also repaired.

Danie Rosslee of Alberton Primary School said, “They also straightened the street and put in new paving. The energy department also fixed the street lights. The roads department promised to make new road markings before the school reopens. And the school is grateful for these developments.”
