Broken Wings invites new members

To provide personal growth to adults with disabilities, Broken Wings invites new members who would like to be part of the day entity.

The Broken Wings Association for Adults with Disabilities invites interested disabled individuals to join their day centre in Raceview.

According to manager Willemien Botha, since the Covid-19 limits were lifted, there is room for a few more impaired adults.

The facility serves people with a range of intellectual disabilities and provides a secure and healthy environment for personal growth in self-esteem, skills development and creativity.

“While we have made great strides, Broken Wings still has much to accomplish. We need any support that you may be able to offer. We recently upgraded our grounds and introduced a weekly ‘sport for disabled’ class which is enjoyed by all,” said Botha.

Should you have a family member who could benefit from the centre’s services, want to donate or enquire about anything the centre offers, arrange a visit by calling Botha on 011 907 6743 or emailing brokenwings@absamail.co.za.
