Nova Pioneer Ormonde Senior School hosted a fun lesson for the grade eight to 10 learners, which was facilitated by First One Adventures on March 10.
During the lesson, learners participated against each other in a series of fun and interactive activities, ranging from dance, and singing to trivial questions designed by First One Adventures.
First One Adventure is a learning and development company that uses adventure as a fun learning platform.

The company partners with major lodges across the country and designs challenges for individuals and groups to think outside the box, inspire problem-solving skills, spark creativity, be innovative and challenge narrative thinking.
Marjorie Meyers, dean of learners at Nova Pioneer Ormonde senior campus, said it was an interactive event and their learners got a glimpse of what will be taking place at the actual camps.

“We used the flex lesson because this links into learners’ enrichment activities that happen every Friday. First One Adventure’s values link up to Nova Pioneer’s mission of developing leaders and innovators, who are critical thinkers with a solution-first mindset.

“The event through its interactive leadership and innovative activities is able to harness key values and skills which Nova Pioneer, through its inquiry-based learning approach instils in our learners.
“Nova Pioneer Education Group is a Pan-African independent school network that builds and operates world-class, affordable education, offering students grades from preschool through to secondary,” said Meyers.
