JOY Dogs touring Bloemfontein, Aliwal North and George
The talented Jade, Orion and Yola take a wondrous tour of three South African towns.
The furry trio took a fun-filled tour, making stops in Bloemfontein, Aliwal North and George.
When Jade (2), Orion (5) and Yola (10) are not working for Dulux, they spend their time visiting senior citizens’ homes, shopping centres, schools and community events.
These magnificent canines also go by the name of JOY dogs, derived from the first letter of each of their names.
It was the dogs’ first visit to George, Western Cape. They had a fantastic time visiting the beautiful city, which included great accommodation where the dogs were well-catered for in an enclosed area that allowed for them to be off the lead – something the furry trio enjoys.
The dogs visited Dulux stores in Knysna and Plettenberg Bay for promotion and did tricks such as reading cue cards, barking their age and carrying out tricks on paint tins.
In addition, they visited the beach for a fun time in the sun, made a stop in Uniondale where they did an impromptu photo shoot and met lovely people, thrilled to meet the dogs.
“I thank you for bringing Jade, Orion and Yola to visit us. It’s a huge tick off my bucket list and made my day,” said Andrea at Dulux Plettenberg Bay.
Sue Green, owner and handler of the three Old English Sheepdogs, reveals it was an incredible tour for her and the dogs. “Thank you to my friend and travel companion, Rene, who took care of me, Jade, Orion and Yola. The tour would not have been possible without her help and support. I look forward to her joining me and the dogs on subsequent trips,” said Sue.
The dogs have upcoming trips around the country, with their next tour likely to be to Port Elizabeth, known as Gqeberha.
