Help team Omega ’91 and friends keep Doors of Hope kiddies warm
Team Omega ’91 invites locals for their next pajama collection extravaganza at Sundowners Alberton on June 16, in order to make a positive impact on the lives of kiddies.
Team Omega ’91 with the help of Angelo at Bracken Gate SUPERSPAR recently hosted a clothing collection point at the Brackendowns store.
The legendary Team Omega ‘91 had an epic mission of collecting pyjamas for a group of adorable orphans cared for by Door of Hope, a children’s mission based in Glenvista.
Omega, the racing sensation, parked right at the entrance of Brackengate SUPERSPAR to draw attention as locals presented their donations.
“Kids of all ages were ecstatic to get up close and personal with a real-life racing car. Most of them were absolutely stunned by its size. They couldn’t help but exclaim, ‘Whoa, these cars look so much bigger on TV’,” explained Stan Hatting.
He said the real heroes of the day were the incredible supporters of Team Omega.
“Their pyjama collection drive was a massive success, and they want to give a huge shout-out to Angelo from SUPERSPAR Brackengate for making the venue available. The biggest thanks go out to all who generously donated pyjamas and clothing,” Hatting said.
Hatting said such contributions have made a positive impact on the lives of the children.
“Brace yourselves for the next pyjama collection extravaganza at Sundowners Alberton on June 16. Prepare to be dazzled as you feast your eyes on these magnificent racing machines. Mark your calendars, gather your friends, and get ready for a laugh-filled adventure at Sundowners Alberton,” he said.
