The East Rand Festival was a weekend filled with tons of fun

People came from far and wide to visit the East Rand Festival, presented by EventX at Emperors Palace’s Centre Court on June 23, 24 and 25. With over 200 people in attendance, there was something to pique the interest of the entire family.

For young children, there was the secure Thee Little Kitchen Club where the young ones were shown how to bake, a play area for bigger kids and moms could shop till their heart’s content while dads could relax tasting some of the craft gins, rums, tequilas and cocktails on offer.

There was everything from beds to sunglasses on offer, and Ormonde resident Shane Mpofu was one of those who visited the festival to find something unique.
