Brackendowns CPF kicked the year off by donating sporting equipment to children

To give hope, Brackendowns CPF donated sporting equipment to children in Thinasonke – a township near Alrode South.

The Brackendowns CPF kicked the year off with an act of kindness by donating sporting equipment to kids in a township near Alrode South. The donation took place on January 4 in Thinasonke.

With the help of generous donors, Brackendowns CPF managed to give away soccer balls, cricket pads, rugby balls, tennis rackets, netball balls and other equipment.

“Brackendowns CPF delivered used sporting equipment, generously donated by our community, to the children of Sector 3 Thinasonke. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this wonderful initiative,” said Brackendowns CPF via a Facebook post.

Some of the children waited with excitement when the boxes containing sporting equipment were opened, and when they were given an item, happiness and joy took over each child.

These acts of generosity and kindness will bring hope and hopefully new opportunities to all the young children who received gifts.
