Join Pacers Run/Walk for Mental Health Awareness at Alberton Dam

Community members of all ages and fitness levels are invited to participate in a meaningful run and walk that focuses on unity, support and breaking the stigma around mental health.

The Pacers Athletic Club and the Infiniti Mlenzi Foundation will host the inaugural Pacers Run/Walk for Mental Health Awareness at the Alberton Dam on January 31.

The first run will start at 07:00.

The event aims to raise awareness around mental health and encourage open conversations while promoting empathy, understanding and hope in the community.

Organisers say the run and walk are open to anyone, offering an opportunity for families, athletes and residents to unite in support of mental well-being.

Participants can choose between three distances.

The 8km and 5km events will start at 07:00, while the one-mile walk will begin at 08:30, making it accessible for those who prefer a shorter, more relaxed option.
