Alberton SAPS sweeps crime in Alberton over the weekend
During an eventful weekend, Alberton SAPS made successful arrests to combat crime from November 25 to 28 in greater parts of Alberton.
Members of Alberton SAPS worked tirelessly to combat crime in their policing precinct over the weekend.
They successfully detained 14 suspects for respective crimes from November 25 to 28.
“They were charged with assault with intention to cause grievous bodily harm, contempt of court, drinking and driving, malicious damage to property, illegal possessions of copper, public indecency, dealing in liquor without license as well as shoplifting and theft,” explained Captain Manare Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS.
The offenders will be taken to the local court to face their charges.
Ramotshela reiterated that the station commander is pleased and thanked officers for making these arrests.
