Security arrests man for attempted theft from shop

Valentine’s Day did not go well for a suspected shoplifter in Verwoedpark, Alberton. The thief entered a store on the afternoon of February 14, intending to steal items from the shop.

The shop owner had watched the thief since he entered the store and saw him trying to steal items, so he alerted Fox Security officers, who rushed to the scene.

Realising he had been seen, the thief quickly fled the store.

Fox Security’s reaction unit officers were already on to the suspect and pursued and apprehended him.

“Well done to our client for being so vigilant,” said Fox Security.
