Criminals break into a business on Voortrekker Road in Alberton caught

Computer keyboards, monitors, wifi routers and other electronics were recovered.

A multidisciplinary operation carried out by Alberton SAPS Crime Prevention Unit and CPS Security’s tactical response team resulted in the arrests of suspects on suspicion of breaking into a business premise.

The suspects were nabbed after they were allegedly seen on CCTV camera entering a business premise on Voortrekker Road in New Redruth, Alberton.

CPS Security was called to the scene by a vigilant resident, prompting their tactical response to rush to the scene of the crime.

Three suspects were found inside the premises loading computer keyboards, monitors, Wi-Fi routers and other electronics.

The operation saw Alberton SAPS Crime Prevention Unit being roped in which led to two more arrests at separate locations, resulting in more stolen goods being recovered.

All suspects were detained at Alberton SAPS holding cells and they may face charges of business breaking, possession of housebreaking implements, and possession of weapons.
